I was so upset for **M-O-A** that I forgot my bitches. The Doctor who saw me today didn’t give in when I told him that I was going to die of boredom. He actually had the nerve to say that he was surprised that my Doctor gave me permission to fly, but while I was here to enjoy my visit because he wasn’t letting me fly for at least 2 more weeks. Flipping Doctors, always getting together and banding up to watch out for their patient’s health. Its a good thing I can’t squat without losing my balance, or I would have let the air out of his tires. I couldn’t try to bribe his staff because Bill was with me. He’s got a lot of major projects, he didn’t need to take time off to go with me. I think its because he doesn’t trust me. Trust issues are not good in a relationship. Now, I did make the mistake of telling him about the first forged work release back when I first got hurt. And he did hear me arguing with my boss over the second one. It doesn’t matter. He should trust that I wouldn’t try it again after being caught cause I’m all smart and stuff. His housekeeper decorated today. It looks nice, but she wrapped garlands around the handrails on the stairs. This was not a deliberate slight, she is just decorating like she did whe Mrs B was alive, but it was just the icing on the cake. What I wanted to tell her when she complained when I asked her to take them down was “yes, but Mrs B is gone and I am auditioning to be the next Mrs B, so don’t bitch at me over climbing ladders. You are the one who put that shit up, take it back down!” What I actually said was something like Oh, that really does look very nice and I can understand that it would be such a waste of time to take it back down when I’m only going to be here for 2 more weeks. I’d be so worried that I’d mess it up while trying to use the handrails. Could you please move my stuff into Bill’s room so I don’t have to take the stairs anymore? I have nice grabby things again. ---

According to some idiot on the news, Perth Airport is the worst airport in the world. Why? Because they let a little thing like the airport being struck by lightning interfere with operations. ---

Not both at the same time, of course, but yes, happiness is warm feet. If I’m particularly efficient before I go to bed, I set the hot water bottle or heating pad in the area of my feet about half an hour before my bedtime. This means that my feet will be happy right when I climb into bed. And if my feet aren’t happy, I’m not happy. ---

Or something. I read this to Mom and mentioned a few people we should say it to. She laughed the first real laugh I’ve heard in two weeks. There is no reason to capitalize MAC if you’re talking about the line of personal computers made by Apple. I see that all over the place, including here. It’s not an acronym. At one time it was an abbreviation of “Macintosh” but I’m not sure if that’s even true anymore; the might be just Macs. But they are not now and never were MACs. ---

Talking about infertility openly and getting the message out there helps drive changes in legislation and health care funding that may eventually allow infertile couples the ability to do expensive fertility treatments. People don’t really get it, and no one talks about it, so it’s nice to have it out there more and more. ---

Although they suggested through the conversations with the kids that something changed for her it really didn’t. It was just a momentary regret for a lost opportunity. I guess I’ll have to see the next couple of episodes to see if Robin really is childfree, or if they’ve turned her childless now. I will be disappointed if she is childless; there have been tons of childless people on tv, but very few childfree ones. The only one I can think of on tv right now is Dr. Christina Young on “Grey’s Anatomy.” ---
