Aw, thank you! FYI, so for 40 is freakin’ awesome. I had a wonderful Friday night with my ish, a fantastic weekend with my friends, and as an added bonus facebook finally justified its existence to me by reconnecting me with someone I’m actually really excited to see. I’m having so much fun it oughta be illegal. 🙂 ---

Turning 40 was not a good time for me. I spent about a year depressed because of it. Thought my life was over, I wouldn’t have any more chance with the women, etc, etc. Glad it’s so much better for you, **DianaG**! ---

Just turned 40 a week ago, that’s the birthday for which the wife and I ill-advisedly attempted to go to a bar/lounge with the newest member of the family. The only change I’ve noticed is a sudden urge to strangle anyone who makes another tired “over the hill” joke. ---

Happy birthday, Diana! 40 was the strangest year of my life; I got divorced then met the true love of my life. Now 50 is looming … looooooooooming. And this year is my 30th high school reunion. Now _that_ sounds like it’s coming from someone old. Who is not me. 😃 ---
