I’m of two minds with this story. On the one hand, I wish her all the luck in the world and am grateful to the million little gods in her neighborhood that she was not born in medieval Europe.
On the other hand…I’m going to the foulest pit in hell for jokes I simply will not utter about her unusual condition.

You know what’s even more odd? I was watching the news and they were speaking about genetic mutations in people like these, and they spoke about a case from Massachusetts, where an adolescent girl(s?) has two heads. Separate heads. Two necks that stem from a normal torso. With their own brain, individuality, and thoughts. They are pretty happy and usual, considering how they were born. They go to High school and, as I imagine, participate in classes no different than yours or mine. They can walk, drive, and ride a bicycle comfortably. Their facial features aren’t deformed at all. My question is, which one controls the body?
Creepy stuff. Right there.

Are [these the girls](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiSuyuOOBR8)? They really are two girls, Siamese twins actually. I believe one controls the right arm/right leg, and the other controls the left. They can’t feel what’s going on in the other’s half.
I guess the baby with two faces was originally twins that just didn’t fully split? I wonder if she will be able to see out of all 4 eyes and talk with both mouths.

The Wiki gods tell us that craniofacial duplication isn’t a product of twinning, rather it’s a protien thing during embryonic development. Could be evil spirits though, I guess.

I don’t know why, but I find the possibilities here so cool. I hope she’s otherwise fine and gets to grow up. Maybe it’s the evil spectator in me, I don’t know, but I find it fascinating on many levels, not the least of which is scientific. I’d really like to come to know how everything functions for her.
I guess my wish for her is that she doesn’t grow up being treated like a sideshow freak. Nobody deserves that.
