Fawlty Towers like Monty Python used to be widely broadcast on PBS channels here in the states. I suspect because the BBC didn’t charge much for the 15 to 20 year old shows. I still see Keeping up Appearances on PBS here in San Diego despite the fact that it is awful. ---
