Well, I think I’m going to rock out. This is not a piss and moan “This board sucks, kthxbye” deal as more of a “I’m moving on” thing. Most people at here are really cool, and I wish you the best. Sorry to anybody I ever pissed off. You guys have been great for the past 3 years, with the SDMB I wouldn’t have met one of my now greatest friends, **Casey1505**. Bye to **misstee** , **duffer** and **torie**. And much respect to everybody I met at the ATL dopefest a couple of summers ago, I enjoyed it. Sorry to see you guys go…hope you lurk by every once in awhile. I do understand…years ago, when I first started here someone was leaving and I don’t recall the exact wording but he said, “after awhile, the same threads keep coming back over and over again in different variations”. That doesn’t bother me as it is sometimes interesting to see how trends vary over the years…and yes, sometimes it seems like all the threads are either fan-spam or re-hashed debates, there are still the occasional moments where I learn something, or laugh out loud or am fascinated by writing skills…enough reasons to keep me hanging around. Besides, for the paltry fee it is a cheaper, better thrill than paying for a movie ticket to see some lame-ass blockbuster movie. Good luck at the SDMB rehab - I hear they serve pie at the meetings. ---

It like alcoholism to some people, once you’re addicted it’s either all or none. This board is great, but it’s not gonna ever keep me from enjoying a beautiful day.
