Clay Aiken is GAY? Next thing you know they’ll be black people in the NBA. I did feel bad for him though in a way cause I watched WGN news and FOX 32 and both time they anchors were LAUGHING as they read it. WGN said, “And here’s the biggest story that isn’t news to anyone except Clay.” ---

Devil’s advocate time: does this kind of speculation and reaction (i.e. “I knew it!”) reinforce negative stereotypes by strengthening the notion that straight men must act a certain way and gay men must act a certain way, and that if you have qualities X, Y, and Z, then you MUST be gay or else in denial? ---
