And the award for "Most Delusional 3rd World Dictator" goes to...

Pass the Bacon Salt!

Anybody STILL sure Moammar is toast?

Anybody else 100% certain he won’t have the last laugh?

Believe me, I understand that Third World dictators often look and sound ridiculous, but they don’t hold on to power for decades by being complete idiots. They may not know much, but they know how to use and keep power.

Kevin Bacon salt!

Didn’t Pink Floyd do a song like this? Ah, here it is: The Fletcher Memorial Home …for incurable tyrants, and fools.

Probably one of the most depressing albums of the eighties.

This isn’t very funny. I prefer Inigo’s take on it - sorry.

Yeah, I remember that one. I was expecting something totally cool on the heels of The Wall. Instead we got a self-indulgent Waters rambling, seemingly from a dark corner of forgotten room in an obscure looney bin in rural Belgium. All very poignant and relevant, but…much different. “Get you filthy hands off my desert!” is always in the back of my head when I hear about Middle East conflicts du jour. That, and Timone from The Lion King: “We’re gonna fight your uncle…for this?”

My money still says Gadhaffi’s gone by the end of the year. Car bomb or sniper rifle–but not ours, of course.

So that’s where Baghdad Bob got off to.
