Can we get over this tired “If you don’t like it, leave?” I see thread upon thread heaping scorn and outrage over Republicans or health care or whatever the latest outrage is. I’ve even seen threads pitting Rush Limbaugh for saying “If you don’t like this country, then you can go somewhere else”. Yet every time one of the heads of the collective mediocrity thinks I’ve gone too far this time, by god, they post these inane suggestions that if I don’t like their worthless contributions I should leave. No, that’s not how it works. We don’t leave the U.S. when the healthcare bill sinks. We don’t leave boards that have some modicum of value because a bunch of hammytrolls who feel the need for recognition are driven to post a bunch of pathos-laden threads about the tragic dorito shortage of '05, and how they were forced to tune into Fox news so they could stoke up some passion in their otherwise dull and empty lives between the LARP sessions. Yes, **Death of Rats** , I’m talking about you. You are so incompetent that you didn’t even realize or care that this is the thread about fuckups in GQ. You are, as far as I can tell, innocent of that particular foible, as you don’t even post in GQ. So, why the fuck are you in here, telling me to leave the board? I’ll tell you why. It’s because it makes you feel warm inside to know you have all these little internet friends. Seriously, pack it the fuck up and post your stupid one-line shit in the other thread. This is a thread about a forum where people aren’t debating the merits of Elrond vs some other fucking hobbit shit. ---

In [thread=539814] this thread about helicopter noises [/thread] **ivn1188** offers up an assessment of the physics involved, including the phrase ‘asked and answered’ only to be gently corrected by **flight** , a PhD in aerospace engineering. I wouldn’t usually comment on this, because I don’t mind people taking a shot at an answer when they obviously know something about it, but in this case I had to point it out.
