I am Maeglin. Like **lno** , my accomplishments are in the distant past. I know he remembers me. At least remembers the fencing scar just above his clavicle that I gave him on a chilly day in 2001. I breathed fire at PorkDope, was in the rescue crew that turned up **WisestNovel** , and ate smores with pork. Life’s been good to me so far. ---

Um, okay. I’m **foxymoron**. It took me a week to work up the nerve to post in this thread. I’d like to post more often, but the thought of rejection (or being ignored) makes me feel anxious. So I usually start a response and then delete it, having convinced myself that no one wants to hear what I have to say. I guess I have issues. Heh heh. Ugh. ---

Hi, I’m **Kendraen Ideals** and I’m a lurker. [This](http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y258/scarletswitchblade/Stuffthatdoesntgobooom001.jpg) is me. Don’t post all that often, since I’m younger than the average poster here and don’t have any expertise. Before I went on a short posting spree when I renewed my subscription, I had something like five posts, and most of the threads I post in tend to die off quickly. I do recognize most of the people on this thread though. **Amp** , didn’t you post on that one thread (in the pit maybe?) about the San Fransisco homeless people, explaining what busking was or something? Well, it didn’t even occur to me that I could finally translate my name here, as well as introduce myself. Hi, I’m **Anaamika**. Used to be **Elenia25** ; changed it some time ago. **Anaamika** , in Hindi, means “anonymous”. Or more literally, “nameless”. Pretty god for a message board, eh? Yeah. I didn’t think so. The important thing was that it be something _I_ chose, not something someone came up with. I’m stubborn like that. I’m definitely not a lurker, with 4500 + posts to my name. I love this place, even though it seems to be getting a little more cranky of late. I mostly hang out in Cafe Society, IMHO, and MPSIMS, with an semi-frequent foray into the Pit and even less frequent into GD. I used to be worried that people thought I was posting too much, that I was being annoying. Then I thought - I enjoy this place! I’m getting pleasure out of it, so why should I even care? So…now I’m just here to have a good time. ---

Ragiel is credited with writing or compiling the _Book of Wings_, which included a bunch of directions for magical effects, based on which intaglio you found, carved into which gemstone. Or an angel occupying seat #7 or thirteen or something in the second tier. Or maybe the author was channeling the lists from the angel. I collect stones, jewels, and folklore about them. But mostly I thought the title _Book of Wings_ was incredible. I’ve e-corresponded with the author of a book on the superstitions, but if he even noticed the reference he never mentioned it. So thanks …hey, wait a minute! I wanted to eat that cookie! ---
