# Andre 3000 in an OfficeMax commercial?

Is that Andre 3000 from Outkast in that OfficeMax commercial? For those who don’t know what I’m talking about, it’s the one with the guy dropping off everything people in the office need, from his cart which has a spinning rubber band ball on it. That is an Outkast song playing, right? Which one is it? Thanks to anyone who can help.

It’s not Andre 3000. Only seen it once, but I’m pretty sure the song’s an old Spinners tune- “The Rubberband Man.”

Ah, OK, thanks. A quick Google reveals you are [correct](http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/columnists/chi-0312190129dec19,1,1407317.column). The guy looked kind of like Dre, plus the song sounds vaguely like it could be an Outkast song IIRC. All I could find affirming my initial hypothesis was [this](http://mt.juby.net/archives/003529.php) though, so I wasn’t sure what to make of it.

Not Andre 3000, but I would guess that they did that intentionally to capitalize on his popularity right now.

I know I did a double take.

I have to say that commercial kicks ass. Time to get “The Rubberband Man” now. That is all.
