You know, I’m beginning to wonder. If he’s not really just…off his meds. I mean for real, not sarcastic as it’s often used. I mean, months of benign Doperhood. Followed by a huge burst of shite, even within hours. The self important tone. The jumping from one topic to another. The use of orange (ok, I don’t know if that’s in the DSM IV but perhaps it should be). All speaks of someone in the manic phase of a bipolar cycle. I know, I know, I know…anyone diagnosing someone over a message board is talking out there ass and I admit to doing so. But I’m just trying to come up with a more benevolent interpretation than the more obvious “he’s an asshole”. ---

I’m not convinced that he needs meds, though. I know quite a few 20 year olds. That’s how they talk. Some rambling nonsense and then OH!!! I JUST SHOWED YOU!!! BURN!!! 😛😉😛😃 There’s a fabulous stream-of-conciousness weaving through his threads, too. He starts one about how some guy tried to scam him, then starts one about how we can all help each other out to avoid scams. He starts one about tipping, based on a Tarantino movie, then starts one about how stupid people are to worship Tarantino. You can just see the wheels slo-o-o-wly grinding, as he starts a thread about tipping, goes over to [imdb.com](http://imdb.com) to check the quote, then reads the messages, then gets angry about people worshipping Tarantino, then starts a thread about that. It’s like his mind is working on one pointless thing at a time. And every “thought” that goes through his head deserves its own thread. He seems obsessed, yes, but he’s like a kid who finally gets to sit at the adults table (and that is odd for me to say, since he’s only 2 or 3 years younger than me), and thinks we all care. He’s not one of those teenagers who thinks he’s all “deep”, he’s not especially full of rage, he doesn’t seem to be under the influence of any fun mind-altering drugs (or else he’s on the world’s longest and most boring trip EVER), he just thinks he’s hilarious and that YEAH WELL, SO’S YOUR FACE!!! LOL!!! is a witty comeback. And I’m also confused by the threads that start off with two or three unhinged, barely coherent ramblings from him, but are followed by normal responses from people. ---
