# Andy Gibb "(Love Is) Thicker Than Water:" "The Fish Dreamer?"

This is something that I seem to hear, but apparently no one else. Three times in the song, the line, “You are this dreamer’s only dream” appear.

[Second time](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VMBGsQgMf8#t=52s)  
[Third time](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_VMBGsQgMf8#t=2m17s)  
The second one sounds as though he’s saying “The fish dreamer” to me. Whether or not you agree that that’s what it sounds like to you, am I imagining that it’s still not exactly like the other two?

It sounds like “this dreamer’s” every time to me.

I definitely agree. The second sounds like “the fish dreamer’s”, in contrast to the other two.

Holy crap.  
I just flashed back to my 13th birthday, whereupon I received that album, an Andy Gibb garbage can, and a VELVET Andy Gibb poster.

I think I am flushing with embarassment.

And, I hear ‘this dreamer’, not ‘fish dreamer’. It is slurred, though.
