# Anesthesiologist trashes sedated patient

Has this been posted yet? If so I haven’t seen it.

To summarize, a man goes in for a colonoscopy. He turn on is recorder so he can remember his post-op instructions. As it turns out he has the recorder on during the procedure, and records the anesthesiologist talking shit about him. He takes the Dr. to court and wins $500,000.

How do you guys feel about this?

Personally while I think what the Dr. did was an abomination and she should be punished some how. However being an ass hole isn’t against the law. So I agree on a fine for malpractice, or misrepresenting information on a medical record. The rest, I’m not so sure about.

I also heard that some anesthesiologist trashed a sedated patient. Maybe I should start a new thread, so people can share their opinions on this one.
