Congrats to Anaheim fans. But next year, how about dropping those obnoxious $30 “thunder sticks” or whatever they’re called. I thought I was watching a political convention. And the Gene Autry thing? What-_ever_. ---

They did a lot better than anyone thought they could or would. Another NL Pennant…Not bad. I didn’t much care for Percival’s post-game declaration that “no one deserves this more than we do!” Please. They may have _wanted_ it more, but _deserved_ it? How about the Twins or the Cardinals, or even the A’s. (Or, if we want to look at the big picture, how about Boston or the Cubs?) Overall, it was just a great Series. Too bad only California was watching. ---

They wanted it and got it; that’s why they deserved it. Angels are the champions!!
