Goldfish. They’re very stately and regal and they posses attributes that I admire: Courage, ruthlessness, wit and that certain savoir faire that is so difficult to define. It’s a pity that the nobility of the goldfish is taken for granted. ---

kinda strange, but it used to be Tutles and tortoises. They were …very present, shall I say, when I first moved to New Mexico. I had them in my dreams a lot. They still come to mind, but I’m not drawn to them like I used to be. currently… mmm… ---

Horses, and anything affiliated with them–equestrian sports, pets, trail riding, the scruffy Belgian horse pulling the taxi carriage, police horses, Breyer horses, ponies, etc. My SDMB screen name was chosen partly due to a favorite racing filly of the same name. I am also drawn to cats, dogs, birds, pythons…pretty much all animal life. Except ants. Ants are evil and must be destroyed.
