# Animated Ads

How do I stop them from running? I’m using Vista home premium.  
The ads slow down downloading tremendously.

If you have Firefox get the Flashblock plugin. ALL animated content will be stopped, unless you click on the icon and let it run manually.

I just downloaded IE7pro. Any hints or do I just need to fool around with it?

Not sure, sorry. Never used it. Just found it on Google and saw that it had ad-blocking and Flash-blocking features.

I’ve downloaded the newer version of IE7 (Pro), disabled animation in web sites, and all’s working well. Thanks All.
