It’s not too odd a question, but I’ll post it anyway. To start with, this topic was inspired by a quote on **Seanbaby’s** “Superfriends” site. (Which I won’t like to because of some…ah, “non-work safe” content.) I was SURE that I’d end up hating him, but he really wasn’t that bad at all. I can’t explain it. •\*\*Jeremy \*\* from **The Secret of NIMH** It’s not that he’s a great character, it’s just that he just spend a lot of time onscreen. Which was a relief, believe me. Best comedy character ever, **Genie** from **Aladdin**. Ok, not exactly a minor character but still a neat semi-phenomial, nearly cosmic powered guy. Close runner up: **Wakko** from **Animaniacs**. His accent is _so_ cute! ---

Alphagene got mine. **GIR** from **Invader Zim**. “Why is his head so BIG?” **Agent Pleakley** from **Lilo & Stitch**. Actually, just about everything from **Lilo and Stitch** worked instead of feeling like a stupid pandering to the Disney formula. As much as I _hate_ to say it, **Mushu** from **Mulan** had some pretty good lines. ---

I liked both the monkey (Abu?) and the parrot (voiced by Gilbert Gottfried) in _Aladdin_. ---

Thats a second vote for Iago in _Aladdin_. Classic Disney villain sidekick. Mind you, I think that _Aladdin_ is the greatest Disney movie of all time… ---

Perhaps we have different definitions of comic relief? To me, that indicates a humorous character in an otherwise mostly non-humorous work. While Wakko, say, or the Chicken Hawk, are certainly not annoying, I’m not sure they qualify as comic relief. And the Rock Biter wasn’t annoying, either, but he was just as serious as anyone else. What’s comic about him? ---

Donkey in Shrek. Sure, he’s a major character, but most of his purpose is comic relief, and the way Eddie Murphy voiced him was pure genius. ---
