I have only vague memories of this–I saw part of it it on MeTV or a similar OTA secondary digital channel network in the last 10 years or so and part of it one other time years earlier. Probably from the 60s or 70s. Sort of an “Arabian nights” type movie. Involved magic, and a tower, and fireworks/explosions, and someone in chains.

_The Adventures of Prince Achmed_, perhaps?

My first guess is [The Thief and the Cobbler](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Thief_and_the_Cobbler), which had a controversial history and was recut and renamed a couple of times.

Yep, that’s it. (Not sure which version.)
