Kinda neat how a much-hated (to you folks, at least) commentator draws so many comments and so much concern from this crowd. Hell, I dislike Krugman, Dowd, etc, but you don’t see me starting threads about them. I just tune them out whenever possible. This whole thread is an example of the apparent fascination/fear that leftists (liberals, democrats, whatever your favored label is) have with successful conservative columnists and commentators, such as Rush, Ollie, etc. Add Ann to the list, I suppose. ---

A strong market, lower crime, a balanced budget, peace and low unemployment mean nothing when you are led by a mendacious leader with no moral clarity. “Smile when you say that.” “A man may smile and still be a villian.” (approximately Shakespeare, Hamlet). You prefer your terrorism with a shit eating grin? 😃 😃 Double your pleasure, double your fun, I’ve got a right to carry a gun. Criticism of the President and his policies is tantamount to treason against our country, Mom and apple pie. Fortunately, our God fearing attorney general has set up the Gitmo camp in the land of the Cuban communist dictator scum to hold terrorists and their fellow travellers indefinitely and incommunicado for the duration, which Uncle Dick has said may last decades. People who are against these measures are against us, but at last we have the tools to fight the commie scourge and wipe out evil forever. We have rounded up more than 1000 of these swarthy people since 9/11 and we will round up all that we need in order to make this country secure. We can even establish some camps on the mainland so that the large numbers of liberals and those socialist Greens can see what awaits them if they don’t start to tow the line. Ann Coulter is only the first to have such moral clarity that she simply dispenses with all the confusing hair splitting and twisted facts that liberals use to lie to us with. I’m damn glad that the right has her and Bill Bennett as our leading mouthpieces. More will follow. I want to thank all the conservatives out there for supporting us throughout this. And while I am at it, it is high time that we privatized social security and let people invest it in the stock market. The stock market has been taking a beating lately and sure could use an influx of fresh money. 🙂 If we had done this last year when our leader, President Bush wanted to, we would have a vastly different economic picture today. ---
