Just watched the first five minutes of the new Anna Nicole Show on E!, and lets just say I already want to turn it off!! I think she is on drugs. Why does she talk so slow, and boy has she gained a lot of weight? Not just big boned, I can tell you that. E! I’m not impressed!!! Poor tv programing even for reality tv. Just my two cents… ---

I had to turn it off after 15 minutes, I was getting a headache. It seems to me, that either she is on drugs, or she’s not “all there” mentally, or both. Either way, it is irresponsible for E! to air this crap. ---

I feel so bad for her kid. What is she thinking??? Of course while we all bitch about the show she is probably running to the bank with the check from E!. So sad!!! ---

Man, I only saw two minutes of it before I wanted to gougue my eyes out. Whoever decided to follow HER around, of all people, should be told to pull his dick out of his playboy collection and get a real job. When was the last time she was considered popular by anyone’s standards? ---

As for her slow manner of speech, I suspect that has a lot to do with what part of Texas she came from. I lived in the Big D and sometimes people in the smaller towns spoke very slowly. Marc ---

Yep…the show was awful. She’s a very odd looking person…she definitely needs to work on her body. And as for her slurred speech…I recall that she battled an addiction to Valium/Xanax & other tranquilizers a few years back…seems like she’s losing that battle. But for those of you who think it’s cruel to air a show that ridicules her (we’re not laughing _with_ you–we’re laughing _at_ you!)…I’m sure she’s being well compensated for being the butt of our jokes. So to sum up: It’s a train-wreck of a show…no content…pitiful…featuring the most vapid pseudo-celebrity around. And I can’t wait for next week’s episode! ---

I had to see this, after all the hype. **Pepper Mill** threatened to walk out after the first couple of minutes, saying “Is that her real voice?” So I turned over the controls to her. ---

I can’t possibly understand the attraction of a woman that has a mumble halfway between highschool cheerleader and valley girl and who looks and acts dumber than a box of rocks. I couldn’t even watch the commercials. ---

I watched the entire show. It wasn’t easy, trust me. She’s definitely on something whenever she has to face people she doesn’t know very well, it seems. She’s really let herself go! I haven’t seen a lot of Anna Nicole since she stopped modeling and I didn’t any commercials for her show prior to watching it so I was a bit shocked. I felt so sorry for her son. Watching her talk to him was brutal! ---

Hold the phone here. What’s her monetary compensation have to do with it? Are we forgetting she’s already a billionairess? 🙂 She doesn’t need the money (I would think), so then it comes down to a pure ego trip. And I’m not convinced she knows she’s the butt of all the jokes. The thing is, this show was overhyped by anyone’s standard. For the better part of two weeks, you saw endless promos for it on E!; and if that weren’t bad enough, you also saw her face in one of those not-very-invisible icons in the lower right of the screen, no matter what show was on (heck, sometimes that icon even smooched you!). But the promos and the icons looked _terrible_ - they didn’t get people to want to watch the show, it basically warned people to stay away from E! from 8 pm ET (when they did the ANC True Hollywood Story) through the rest of the night. Hope they did. 🙂 ---

Yeah it was pretty sad to see this bitch prancing around looking for a new home. Gee, you think they fabricated that story line? What would Anna really be doing if there wasn’t a camera on her? Most likely her face would be in a in a bucket of KFC. I was flipping back and forth trying not to look too hard at this car reck. I feel bad for the son. I read that he really didn’t want to be part of the show but agreed to it to please his mom. ---

Not a train-wreck of a show, but a train-wreck of a life. I found it terribly sad (especially when she was talking to her son), but at the same time I couldn’t look away. I turned over to The Osbournes right after Anna Nicole, to watch a more normal family in action. 😉 ---

I heard a report this morning concerning an interview ANS gave Howard Stern a few weeks back in which she said she’s been pretty much staying in bed for the past couple of years. It seems that not only she does need the money, having those cameras around 24 hours a day is helping with her overcome the depression. ---

Hm. I know that she was awarded the bulk of the estate, and that the son had then sued her for it, but I thought the decision was to give him a few million dollars, not the whole thing. Could have sworn she wound up with the lion’s share. Well, nothing will cure depression better than thinking you’re being adored - even if you’re the butt of everyone’s joke. ---

No one around here seems to talk slow. Most hicks 'round these parts talk too fast as opposed to too slow. (Before she was a stripper, she worked in the Red Lobster in this area. Cutting edge!) ---

God was that horrible. She has to be on something… at least around other people, like someone here mentioned. Because when it showed her commentary just talking to the camera she was normal. But the other clips she seemed stoned off her ass… People needed to help her around and get out of the car. SOmething is definitely not right there. How this can stay on the air after 1 episode is beyond me. She has gotten disgustingly fat too!!! She needs a pound of makeup to look halfway decent. ---
