Anne Hathaway may be the new Catwoman, but I think Miz’ Jane could take her on, with her joo-jitsoo and whatever hillbilly self-defense she learned from Granny and Elly May. Plus, Miz’ Jane would be wearing sensible flats and her bird-watchin’ shorts, not same danged Stella McCartney red-carpet frou-frou. ---

Miz Hathaway was one of the earliest cougars in pop-culture. She was easily 40, Jethro was at most 18, and she wouldn’t take no for an answer. OTOH, Anne Hathaway could give her a run for the money as bad-ass secretary in _Devil Wears Prada_, even committing copyright piracy to get the pre-released Harry Potter novels. She also did that tricky bit of going from frumpy Anne Hathaway at the beginning to beautiful Anne Hathaway later by taking off her glasses; Jane tried that once and it just… wasn’t pretty. PS- Buddy Ebsen campaigning for Nancy Kulp’s Republican opponent in Pennsylvania was a monumental dick move, but not surprising if you’ve read so much as the description of [his novel](http://www.amazon.com/Kellys-Quest-Buddy-Ebsen/dp/0759603294/ref=sr_1_4?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1328128326&sr=1-4) (read a couple of the reviews, please!). ---

Miss Jane actually did dress up in a “Kitty-Kat” uniform in one ep of TBH. “Kitty-Kat” club girls showed up or were mentioned a couple of different times during the run. ---
