I dont accept "audition tapes nor do I do auditions, truth is if you send me something unsolicited it is unlikely it will even get opened relegating it straight to the trash.

The top agencies and the most reputable are LA Direct ([ladirectmodels.com](http://ladirectmodels.com)) and TheVIPConnect ([thevipconnect.com](http://thevipconnect.com)) they are run by Derek hay and Shy Love respectively. There are about a dozen others but as you may have guessed they can be very shady and as such I only recommend those two for Los Angeles I do work with a guy in Florida who runs [coxxxmodels.com](http://coxxxmodels.com) he is licensed as well and he is legit and since I am in GA geographically his models are usually closer to me. Funny thing about him…he solicited me to hire his models for two years and I always blew him off because he wasnt licensed and bonded making him fly by night in my book…because of that and because he wanted my business so bad he actually got licensed and bonded as a result I use his models and refer girls to him if they are looking for representation.

About half the girls I shoot aren’t looking to be porn stars or even shoot for anyone else for these girls its a way to make sime extra money, have fun and not have to travel to Los Angeles.

NOW I presume yer a guy and that makes it a whole different ballgame…all the agencies are still the ones I recommend but getting your foot in the door isnt gonna be easy.

The best way to do it is to get a pretty girl…I mean a solid 8 or better who wants to be in porn but wants to shoot her first time (only the first time ) with you. You in turn pay for everything to get her on set air, hotel etc. you will get one shot. if you are easy to work with and can get it up and keep it up and cum on command thats your ticket in. You will get work…if not…hey ya tried…I can fill a stadium with guys that THINK they can do it but in reality maybe 1 in 200 actually can.

honstly I dont think they do particularly 80s girls

nowd ays almost any girl can come into the biz and get some work look at a girl like Bonnie Rotten (who used to dance at a strip club I owned) I like her personally but as a porn star I dont get it, she is way too thin, she is covered in ink, many of the tats have white supremacist meanings and origins so I dont get it.

look at 90s/90s girls like Shauna Grant, Hyapatia Lee, Raquel Darrien, Christy Canyon. they are feminine, curvy but not fat they look soft and most importantly they look like girls.

Contrast them to Kayden Kross, Bonnie Rotten, Asa Akira and I dont get it…im not a fan of the girls with bodies like little boys and over inflated fake tits…

but thats just my own preferences. i think your generation has a lot to do with it too if you are younger you are more likely to think todays batch of pornstars are hotter because they fit your image of beauty.

> It’s disturbing (especially to a numbers guy like me) that so little is known about the profession. Even prostitution has a variety of studies looking at who goes into it, the problems they have, and the aftermath. With all the talk now of pictures haunting people, women especially, from ordinary sexting to revenge porn to leaked selfies to actual porn participation leading to teachers getting fired and every other possible variant, how many people are potentially affected is a big issue.
>
> It used to be said that once you were in porn you were marked for life, unable to shake that past for “respectable” lives. I’ve always doubted how true that was except for the easily recognizable superstars but that was the stigma. I once thought our culture had gotten past that, but too many stories have appeared calling out women who have ever shown their bodies to a camera to see much progress.
>
> That’s why I wonder about numbers and the future. Once the percentage goes high enough - and high may be 2% - it gets too big to be brushed aside.

most of the girls that do porn can slip away from it these days without it haunting them usually. most often the ones making noise about being outed or hatever are simply drawing attention to themselves to set up a come back or whatever I know LOTS of girls that have gone on to successful lives in the corporate world, or home makers, nurses etc.

It bugs me too that we are not studied a bit more and a bit more seriously…It could benefit us for ages I have tried to make the case that we are the perfect data set for birth control, std studies etc and that allowing big pharma and such to use our data anonymously could be used to offset the cost of getting tested for STDs every 14 days (which performers pay for at 200 bucks every 2 weeks)

Part of the problem is that in Porn Valley (San fernando Valley) where most porn is filmed, the recurring rates of STDs is sky high and the industry doesnt want that data out…two recent studies showed that the rates of Gonorrhea and Chlamydia are 38 and 64 TIMES the average for that age group in Los Angeles respectively. they also found high incidences of STDs in the rectal and throat areas. Its a problem that my industry should be addressing…but sadly we dont. I point this out quite a bit and my doing so has led to a lot of people in porn who dont like me very much.

Its also the reason i am happy shooting here in GA I have a very closed talent pool that doesnt shoot for anyone else and I can honestly state that since 1992 when i started there has not been a single STD transmission on one of my sets…I know theres some luck in that but its also due to careful screening and very selective employment.

I am ALWAYS open to suggestions…believe me Id love to find an underserved niche that I could understand how to shoot!

Do the girls enjoy it…I will answer that from a couple of perspectives…In mainstream porn, for the most part the answer is no. Asia Carrera was once asked what her favorite part of a scene was and her answer was “When the director says cut” it was a dumb answer but it was honest. At the time she was a “Vivid Girl” and as a result Steve hirsch the owner of Vivid made all of his girls take PR classes.

On the flip side amateurs like the ones I shoot actually usually do enjoy it. I personally am looking for girls that will enjopy it and have fun with it and I have no problem finding them, even for the bukkake site there is an amazing number of girls I shoot that LOVE it…even to the point that they will come to shoots that they arent performing in and will stick around for an off camera party afterwards where they can play.

Cherry morgan is one of these girls

[![](http://southernbukkake.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Cherry4thumb.jpg) ](http://southernbukkake.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Cherry4thumb.jpg)

thats a safe for work photo hopefully its ok to post if not i apologize in advance. But the point is to illustrate that there are very pretty girls who do it without a shred of regret and even have fun doing so…I like shooting these girls because that having fun part comes through in the video and Cherry is one of my favorites and she has gon on to do more in porn but she still shoots with me regularly

As for unwanted regulation…we get a fair amount…most of it in the form of Title 18 section 2257 United states code.

I have no problem requiring that a girl be 18 or older and being able to prove that she was but the way its written is alarming…it allows warrant-less searches and imposes cumbersome filing and cros referencing that if I dont comply with I can be fined 10K or more. it forces me to be able to prove that I didnt commit a crime that never happened…

I remember reading something, possibly on Salon, about a university interior design department with a large collection of classic porn that they used as reference material for what homes actually looked like. That’s nice to know. One of the depressing things about porn is girls who do it solely to get top billing as dancers. You can usually tell who is faking it - they’re the ones making that dreadful, nasal “mmmm-YEAH!” noise that someone in your previous thread dubbed the “porno ringtone.”
I read an interesting blog post by a woman who said she got into porn because her desires just couldn’t be accommodated otherwise.

If you have a fantasy of having sex with five men at once, trying to arrange such a thing in your private life is nearly impossible, no matter how cool and open-minded you or your friends are. When it gets to the point of actually getting naked and hard, you’re going to risk embarrassment and bruised egos. But if you’re willing to have it filmed it’s the producer’s job of supplying a group of men who can deliver, pays them to be there (and be tested for STDs) and will pay you to realize your fantasy.

Maybe it will be great, maybe not, but you haven’t had to ask all your male friends, trying to find five that can handle it, or risk destroying a friendship with a friend who is a secret Puritan ready to denounce you as a strumpet.
…and **dropzone** pointed out that one of her friends acting as a “meat puppet” (love your term!) might misinterpret this event as love. Or that the women should thereafter be available as a handy sperm receptacle.

Contacting you or one of your peers might very well be the best and safest option to realize a fantasy that is just too difficult otherwise.

i think itll get a lot of attention but I dont think it wil revolutionize porn as we know it right now. That is NOT to say that it wont have impact in unforseen ways. For example one thing that hit me about OR is that it could make very interesting webcamming. With higher and higher bandwidth availability and processing power VR could revolutionize a lot more than just gaming…or it could be just like 3D comes around as a novelty every few years but doesnt quite catch hold.

The one thing for porn is going to be how costly it is to produce…despite claims otherwise there really isnt a lot of money being made in porn unless you look at the composite of a whole lot of small companies making small amounts of money

Sounds like the “Better Sex” video series. It is intended for couples, and is pretty tame. But honestly, if you really are going to show people techniques for better sex, you might have to get pretty explicit - for instance (in my opinion, obviously) most people could use some pointers on oral sex, and unless you show close-up oral/genital contact, it is not going to do much good.

Nina Hartley, porn star and registered nurse, has any number of instructional tapes, but they suffer from trying to be all things to all people, and they shot it attempting to convey the information in both a pg-13 and x rated form at the same time. So she’s explaining female genital anatomy with a vagina puppet, while having her actually getting her own face down near one would have been much clearer.

Gangbangs.

I know you direct what you call “blowbangs”, so I hope you can answer this.

When, in my imagination, I think of a “gangbang”, I picture one man after another “taking turns” with a girl. Each man has his way with her until he finishes, then steps aside and lets the next guy take over.

What I’ve seen in porn doesn’t match up with that “ideal”. What I find are frenetic scenes where each of the multiple men penetrate and thrust for a couple minutes at a time, and they keep rotating, each man only fucking the girl for a couple minutes at each go.

Is there a reason for that? I get the impression that the object is to have all of the men come at about the same time so that they can all finish with facials at the same time.

> Contemporary mainstream porn stars seem more generally to be less “glamorous” and more attractive.

> Having said that, you’re right about the make-up. There’s a page on the web somewhere that has a bunch of before-and-after shots of porn stars with and without makeup, the pictures having been taken for the express purpose of putting these shots together. The results are sometimes shocking.

Glamorous or not, today’s porn stars seem in my eye to be much more better looking. Different opinions, but a short glance at old porn makes me shudder.

I really appreciate your response Mike, thanks for the help!
