Anybody else feeling kind of grudgingly impressed by this rentboy kid, and I don’t mean on account of his alleged nice ass and perfect cock? I mean, dude gets a Europe-trip gig with a closeted client, it gets into the papers, dude is interviewed and protects his client’s privacy from prying media eyes in a dignified and discreet way, as he ought. Then dude finds out that said client is an anti-gay crusader who’s using his closeted status to enable his hypocrisy and persecution of gays, decides that blocking that shit is more important than client confidentiality, and tells it like it was. Now, I may be giving rentboy **way** too much benefit of the doubt about this. Perhaps he’s just an opportunist gold-digger who’s been encouraging a bidding war between Rekers and the media, and is perfectly happy either to zip it or spill it\* in accordance with the wishes of the highest bidder. Or maybe he’s just spinning the scandal out to boost his own notoriety. But **IF** the situation is as I initially interpreted it, then I think that kid behaved with quite a bit of integrity and courage. Way to go, twink. \*Um, that didn’t come out right. I’m wondering how that photo of Rekers and Lucien (the one on the [Miami News link](http://blogs.miaminewtimes.com/riptide/2010/05/george_rekers_is_a_homosexual_says_escort.php)) was taken. It’s credited to Brandon K Thorp who’s also credited at the end of the article. Did Thorp recognize Rekers? Was he tipped off? ---

If you start outing clients, word will get around and you won’t have a living anymore. Better to spend time on drugs, violent crime, and other issues that present public danger.
