I don’t remember a similar connection on Gemini with their Service Module, they must have had one. Yes?

Yeah, that’s a picture the crew took after they’d jettisoned the CSM.

Nitpick – that is, of course, the Service Module alone, not the CSM. Tough to get home after you jettison the Command Module.
