I took art in school, but mostly I developed my eye for photography by practice (throwing a way a lot of BAD shots) and reading stuff about composition, etc. Two books I have are Digital Photography for Dummies, and the National Geographic Field Photographer’s Guide (I think that’s what it’s called.) I can’t paint or draw to save my life. Here, I’ll prove it. Actually I wouldn’t even begin to describe myself as artistic, I have however read a lot about photography. I think basicly I just really like taking photographs 🙂 ---

OMIGODOMIGOD I bought the Sony. 😃 Wheeeee! Unfortunately, they’re having to ship it to me, as they were out in the store. But I’ve got the lense, a card, a case, a spare battery and a uv filter in hand as we speak. Or type. Well, not literally in my hands, or I wouldn’t be typing. 😃 Thanks for all your input wonderful Doper photographers!
