Pringles start as potatoes but they’re pulverized and shaped into that “saddle” shape that fits in a can so neatly. With, as you note, MSG and other chemical goodness. ---

I used to like those horrible inadequate Arby’s roast beef sandwiches. I dunno if I’d still enjoy them now. In college, I’d get the 5-sandwich special and put all the meat into one bun to get something nominally approaching that photo. ---

I like sauerkraut and no, my family did not come from Germany. Other European nations also had variations of sauerkraut so that may explain why we had it when I was a child. Didn’t exactly like when I was a child though. I’ve tried Korean kimchi and have enjoyed the non spicy kinds. ---

I’ve found a lot of people from all sorts of backgrounds like sauerkraut. It’s pretty common on Reuben sandwiches and hotdogs. Other fermented vegetables are found in a lot of cultures. I’m not fond of it myself, it’s often too acidic for my tastes but in a Reuben it forms a reasonable balance with the other ingredients. I get the most blow back for mustard on fries. ---

I have very pedestrian bland tastes and eat a boring limited diet, so I don’t usually consume anything all that controversial. However I am a fan of liquorice and black jelly beans. ---

Whiner sandwiches for me. At least that’s what we called them. Take a couple uncooked seiners, slice them lengthwise, add Cheez Whiz and red relish. Only thing is, I can’t find red relish anymore.
