Cancelling school because of a hoax threat is essentially putting power in the hands of lazy idiots, who thought they wouldn’t have to take a test if they started a scare. Make them take the test, that they are obviously woefully unprepared for, and then haul them away in handcuffs. ---

There’s no reason we can’t do that **after** we’ve ensured the safety of everyone else by keeping them away from the threatened site until the threat is confirmed to be a hoax. Hoaxers (at least ones who make reasonably credible threats) should be deterred by catching and punishing them, not by “tough-guy” exhibitions of calling their bluff that potentially put innocent people at risk. ---
