Hope you are feeling better today. I noted your post about a co-worker with the same symptoms. We just had “something go around” in my office that left us with the number one symptom:

“I just feel like crap.”

If you can, give in and let your body have a rest. Spend a day with some good\* fluids, a little soup and the remote control.

Amen, brother. I’ve had ‘the flu’ twice in my life, and never ever want to go through that again. I’m a person who doesn’t get sick - and even if I do, it’s a case of ‘suck it up and get on with life’, and both times I was flat on my back for 4-6 days, and weak for another week afterward.
