Past couple times I’ve been in a particular bar that includes black light as part of its hipster '60’s ambience, I’ve noticed my gin & tonics fluoresce a rather unnerving yellowish-green. I’m presuming the effect is related to the quinine in the tonic water, but thought I’d make sure. Can anyone confirm this?

[Yes, it’s the quinine](http://www.cheminst.ca/ncw/experiments/etonic.html).
