# Another Half-Remembered SciFi Story-Help!

Maybe someone with a good memory can help me. I was trying to recall an old scifi story that referenced a “city of time”, and an “iesis flow from the 4th dimension”.  
I seem to remember that it had something to do with explorers landing on a planet that had empty buildings/evidence of being inhabited, but now abandoned.
