Another inexperienced couple sinks their boat.

UPDATE

A story from a year later chronicles their attempt to live on the second boat. It didn’t go all that well but at least the replacement boat didn’t sink. They parked the boat and bought a van. That apparently didn’t work out either so, “We moved into an apartment last month,” she said, “and it really changed my life.”

Ooooo Kay. I wonder how they fared through the Covid?

I hate to be the cynic here but with a line like "Nikki Walsh, 24, and boyfriend Tanner Broadwell, 26, decided nearly a year ago that they were tired of working." and the sources being Fox and the NY Post, I have grave doubts- not about the basic story mind you, but about some of the details.

In general, living on a boat is more expensive.

From the article - “They’re hiking abandoned mines in Breckenridge, Colo.” The abandoned mines in Breckenridge are all but sealed up for safeties sake. But something tells me they will find one… Might read about them in the local paper.

Next up, SCUBA diving - “How hard can it be? You just swim under water and breath through this thing. Right?”
