# Another legal question (Brett Parker trial)

After watching the 48 hours show on that trial, I wonder…if you’re innocent, and you think the prosecutions case is flimsy, wouldn’t it be a better idea to take a bench trial, rather than a jury trial?

And can you know who the judge will be before you choose?

Personally, I’d rather rely on a judge rather than some wannabe body-language experts (the ones who can be bothered to stay awake) who have no grasp of ‘beyond a reasonable doubt.’
