Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffeinated, and purtified, so no _YAWN_. ‘Tis \ 69! \ Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 77 and p.m. rain/tstorms/apocalypse. We shall see. We are goin’ to break fast at The Cookie Shoppe this mornin’. OYKW wants to get some cookies to take to irk. I suppose I shall do likewise, bein’ as he’ll buy 'em. 😃 OK, that’s all I got. **Moooom** , do you turn it completely off at night or leave it in sleep mode? You may need to defrag your hard drive. Over time, even though it holds the same amount of memory, a hard drive can be like yarn that has been unraveled and scrunched into a messy pile. Defragging neatens things up by reorganizing and regrouping things and bringing all the empty spaces together. It’s also called optimizing the hard drive. There are free programs you can download from reliable sources like [cnet.com](http://cnet.com). If you have a Mac, try Clean My Mac. I’ve been using it for years and it works wonders. There are Windows cleaners that work as well, but I’ve never used them. ---

_ **rosie** _, unless I have a brainfart, I turn my computer off every night, unlike a certain person I live with… I’m installing some updates right now (posting from spousal unit’s laptop) and I was thinking about doing a defrag. I’ve got a BIL who’s a computer geek by profession - I was thinking about connecting with him via Team Viewer and letting him have a go at it… after I do a backup. We shall see. Meanwhile, I’ve got jeans in the washer and the sun is finally illuminating the tops of the trees, so I guess it’s morning. 😃 ---

Blurf. Had to take a 4-hour on-line class yesterday. Didn’t really need it, but according to the powers-that-be, I need to earn a certain number of ‘points’ per year towards my ‘certification’ or I (and they) get in trouble. Ignore, please, that I am retiring next August and will never have to use that training… But I sort of like my bosses, so there is another 4 hours of wasted time…er, training on the schedule today. ONly good thing is the weather, which is dry and 80F during the day…while I’m working. So most definitely blurf. ---

Did some grocerying and we’re good for lunches next week. I just need to get in the routine of making lunches the night before - I suppose I could build a week’s worth of sammiches at once and be done with it. After a lunch break, I’ll don some grubbies and mow. I’ve also got to pull the carpet cleaner out as one of the felines, probably Taz, puked in our bedroom doorway. While I’ve got it out, I’ll hit a couple other grubby spots that I’d been ignoring. And eventually, I’ll empty the dishwasher. Yay productivity!! 😃 ---

You put Hollandaise on your PB&J?? :eek: Yards are mowed, and I even remembered to drive the path thru the woods. There were a bunch of small branches that were chewed up by the mower and one large one that I had to move out of my way. And lots of foliage overhanging the path that needs to be cut back… another day. Meanwhile, the latest seeded areas are being watered. ---

Howdy from da cave! One more irk day to go. WOOHOO! Tonight is “Stuck In The Middle” (a chillun and youth thing) over to the church house. This also includes Evening Prayer. Anywho, it involves the feedin’ of folks as well. Tonight is fried chikin (to be bought), sallit, mac ‘n cheese, fruit and cookies. Shortly I shall betake myself over there to bake up the frozen mac ‘n cheese, make tea and lemonade and set the Parish Hall up for eatin’ purposes. Apparently it’s important to use plates, silverware, cups and napkins. 😃 I shall also stop at the Pubic Sto’ on the way to pick up a tray of chawklit chip cookies I ordered. Laterz! ---

It’s a very pretty day. I went outside with the dog for a while. Sah-son had a two hour online test so I got the dog out of his way for a bit. I wish his art teacher would post some grades, this is week four and still no grades. He said he would start posting them last week. The kid would like to know if he is on the right track regarding the assignments. ---
