Chicago to Cali sounds like going from Winter to Summer.

[Rico](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=737513) retired last month.

[Marley23](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=737951) is taking a break, but hasn’t retired.

**Dex** always sent me emails thanking me for reporting posts in the forums he moderates. Something he didn’t have to do, but I appreciated the acknowledgement. He’s unique among SD moderators for doing this.

EDIT - Actually, **TubaDiva** sends me thanks, too, so that’s much appreciated **Tuba.** 🙂

Thanks, although your Marley link is off.

Always sad to see another '99 leave. I’ll especially mix **Dex** in the Bible study threads. I hope he has time to occasionally contribute to those.

Cheers Dex. You look younger already.
