Especially after yesterday’s 5-state primaries in the Northeast, the spectacle of Ted Cruz and John Kasich Joining Forces to Stop Trump reminds me irresistibly of Grover and Elmo working to stop the revelation of Another Monster at the End Of This Book. That was such a great book. I had a copy when I was like, 4, which means the book must be 45 years old. ---

To clarify: There are two books. The Monster at the End of This Book starred Grover, and is an age-old classic. Another Monster at the End of This Book is a much more recent sequel, and stars both Grover and Elmo. ---

I loved the first book as a kid (40+ years ago) and my kids loved both of them when they were little. The original book was my first favorite book. I have extremely fond memories of that book. ---
