Great pics, everyone (I especially enjoyed **Dibble** ’s backdoor view, though I was initially worried about what the NSFW warning attached to “backdoor view” might imply). I’d be glad to start another one tomorrow if no one else was hoping to start one. If anyone does start one, though, make sure to post here first! If no one else has, I’ll start one tomorrow night. ---

> [@Treviathan](#): > > Here’s the view from my [front porch](http://www.flickr.com/photos/tcp909/92320729/), in black and white. I guess since it’s also shot from about two feet off the ground, it’s sort of what the dog might see. This is simply gorgeous! Wonderful evocative piece. ---

I got a digital camera yesterday. It’s fairly cheap, but I haven’t used a digital camera before, so I thought I’d start with something simple. Anyway, on with the photos. Photos from the [Front](http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/4536/frontwindow9tt.jpg) and [back](http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/3/backgarden3ku.jpg) bedroom windows. I don’t have a front door, only side and back doors, neither of which give a good view. For the kitchen, I’ve got pictures of a [Kettle](http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/6466/kettle7be.jpg) and a [cake I made](http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/817/cake3tr.jpg) I don’t have one favourite possession, so I took a picture of an [album I recently bought](http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/4570/album3ty.jpg), and rather enjoy. Finally my choice is a picture of a [piece of artwork](http://img453.imageshack.us/img453/1169/painting5yv.jpg) I did at school. ---

Hey, I have that album. I saw her live, opening for Sarah McLachlan. She was pretty good. ---
