Just out of curiosity what would be the purpose of someone cloning our message board? What is the motivation? ---

Usually it’s because ads need content to attract visits and page views - and stealing someone else’s content to put your ads alongside is easier than creating your own. Except I didn’t see any ads on the linked clone site, so it could be something more nefarious, like password harvesting. ---

I’m tempted to sign in with a completely fictitious user name and password just to see if it lets me in. Although on second thought, perhaps that wouldn’t be wise. ---

I checked out a random thread (something about Jane Goodall in General Questions) and it was 5 years behind. I check another thread to confirm. It showed 2013 posts as the latest posts.
