Back from the dentist - the appointment took over an hour, but it was the most comprehensive exam I’ve ever had! And I really like the dentist - she’s the one who did **FCD** ’s crowns. I just finished lunch and I’m about to go out and rake a bit. It’s a gorgeous day!! The sun is out and I’m pretty sure my laundry is just about all dry. But rake first, clothes later. ---

**spidey** , to answer yesterday’s heathen question: it’s a secular humanist congregation, hence, we heathenate. 😃 Our women’s choir, which I am part of performed _We Will Rock You_ acapella and sang back up on _I just Want to Celebrate_. Being in Nashville, our music tends to be pretty good. **donkeybear** , cute pooch! I had the fasting lab work done this morning and didn’t roll into irk until 10:30. I really didn’t miss much, as it is my slow Monday of the month. ---

One time my friend and I were walking through a mall and we had to stop by the cinnamon roll place so my friend could inhale the smell. 😛 Brought my computer in to get fixed, but the computer guy needed a cord, so I’ll bring the cord tomorrow. I really hope the computer guy can’t get into my passworded Word files… ☹ Kinda worried about that. Anyway, maybe I can sort things out tomorrow. ---

As an insomnia sufferer, I sympathize with the OP. I don’t get how I can take an OTC sleep aid, get into bed, and read on my Kindle until I can’t keep my eyes open and can’t keep track of where I am on the page … and then as soon as I put my Kindle away and turn out the light, I’m suddenly wide awake and spend the next 2-3 hours desperately trying to fall asleep ☹ Sunday was awful. My current work schedule has me waking up at 4:00AM for the first four days, and then getting up at 7:15 on the fifth day. Since I get to “sleep in” on Sundays, I stayed up late on Saturday night. Surprisingly, I went right to sleep when I finally got into bed … and then woke up again somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00AM. I stayed in bed wishing to fall asleep again, but gave up at 6:30 and got up. Then spent all day Sunday dragging my ass at work because I was so damned tired. ---

All of the beds in the back are pretty much leaf-free and ready for mulch. Yay!! I picked up some of the bigger branches, but only those that were between the last bed I raked and the woods where I was going to dump the debris. Too tired for any detours! Manual labor kicks my butt!! I should be sitting on the deck with an umbrella drink supervising a crew of scantily clad, sweaty young landscape professionals - men, of course. 😉 Sucks not to be a bazillionaire!! After I cool down a bit, I’ll have to take down the laundry. Dunno what we’ll do for supper. Something quick and easy. I don’t feel like cooking. There’s that not being a bazillionaire issue again! dammit. ---

This waking up at night and then falling asleep during the day is getting old. I’m not getting much done like I want to. I’ve tried not napping hoping then I’d sleep through the night but it doesn’t make a difference. So the credit union called and while they won’t loan me the total amount of my tax bill they will loan me a good part of it. While he had me on the phone it was suggested I get a credit card to improve my credit, I don’t have bad credit, I have almost no credit. Then he asked me if I still have my truck loan with them and since I do and I have been a good at paying on time I am eligible for a lower rate. So maybe all this will work out for the best after all. **FCM** way back when I owned a horse there was a horse at the stable named Alice. She would be all the way out at the back of the field. It never failed though, her owner would clean her stall and here she’d come. She walk all the way to the barn, go into her stall, drop a load and walk all the way back out to the back fence. Never knew how she knew and she hated a clean stall. **Midget** assume the people irking on your computer will see everything. Of course they have seen everything and probably don’t care. My younger nieces bf used to irk at a place that fixed computers and he found one full of child porn. By law he had to turn the customer in, which he did. Then when the computer was ready he called the customer to pick it up. The customer came in to pick it up, and the police were waiting to pick him up. I doubt you have anything on there to shock the repair guy. I think it’s one of those jobs where nothing shocks them. ---

**Mister Rik** - yeah, thinking can really mess up sleep. I can usually turn off my brain, but sometimes one niggling thought can set my brain into overdrive. Stoopit brain. We went to Cracker Barrel for supper because \*\*FCD \*\*wanted breakfast. I got the grilled chicken salad - it was amazingly yum! Now we’re home in the chill mode. I’ve closed all the windows since the temp is dropping and the wind is picking up. Rain isn’t supposed to show till tomorrow. Here’s hoping this thread topic isn’t predictive of my night. I’s tahred and I need some major sleep! ---

**Doggio** show off! I am in the insomnia crowd. I can think of things for hours. Then, when I do fall asleep, the dogs start barking because there’s a raccoon or something in the yard and they want to _get_ it. Yeah right. Like letting them out will magically quiet things down. Humph. Stoopid dogs. Then they sleep all day. ☹ Daughter is on Spring break this week. Son goes back to school. Why is the universe arranged this way? Tomorrow I am presenting to the president of the division. Bleah. Trailer still on the street. Happy Moanday. ---

Dindin was good. I called MOG and told her to come over since she lurves her some salmon patties. She came over to eat and we had a nice little visit. She can talk the horns off a billy goat but she’s fun so there’s that.
