Insomnia? Yeah, I hate to go to sleep. There’s always something else I’d rather do. Of course there’s hell to pay the next day. Nice day at work today; sent on a mission closer to home than normal, and was able to leave the scene and get home about an hour before my usual time. Short work week this week; will pick up my children Thursday night and Friday we will be honored with a personal tour of the University of Maryland College Park by a young lady I know. Though the kids are few years away from college I am hoping to show them that continued education is exciting and wonderful, not something scary or boring. Both of them have aspirations which may very well take them there eventually, so that’s good too. ---

I’m lucky when I can get to sleep without much trouble. I have computer anxiety tonight, so it looks like it’ll be a pill night. I have more trouble when I have to sleep away from home. But I haven’t spent the night away from home in a while, not since January I guess, when I stayed over at a friend’s house. It’s always fun to go there. 🙂 ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. _YAWN_ ‘Tis 71 Amurrkin out and very muggy with a predicted high of 85 for the day and rainy. Also, there appears to be fog developin’. Of course it will be thick as da bear gets to take off drivin’ to the southeast forty this mornin’. That is a loooooooooong drive down mostly two lane state highways. ICK! **gotti** , **donkeybear** , AKA **chaoticbear** , made an appearance Sunday night with a pic of his cute self with his cute doggy. I am hopin’ a mention of him in this MMP will entice him to pop in and post. Maybe he’ll do a vanity search. 😃 Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. \*\*gotti \*\*- \*\*donkeybear \*\*popped into the last MMP on Sunday night. Apparently it was a tease… (ETA - I wrote this before \*\*swampy \*\*posted, just FYI!) \*\*kopek \*\*- I checked my usual sources and no mention was made of the booming. Maybe my sweetie and I were having mutual hallucinations… It sounded like thunder, but there was nary a cloud in the sky. I suggested fireworks, but he said no. But perhaps it was. Dunno. All is calm now. Till the rain starts. Taz scared the crap outta me this morning. Last night when \*\*FCD \*\*came to bed (I had gone back early so Frodo could finish his journey to Mount Doom) he asked whether the cat was with me. But I was alone. Because it’s impossible to read with a cat nearby - that cat will wind up in your face every time! Not once during the night did Taz assault our door. When the alarm went off, I got up and opened the door - no Taz. He’s \*ALWAYS \*sitting there. Ziva was strolling down the hall, but no Bengal. I let Higgs out, I checked the basement and the spare bedrooms (in case he’d snuck thru an open door. I even surveyed the back yard (OK, I looked around) on the chance he escaped when Higgs went for her pre-bed pee. Nothing. I looked in closets and the pantry. Nothing. And just as I was going to tell \*\*FCD \*\*that the idiot cat was missing, he came strolling down the hall into the bedroom. What a jerk! 😛 That’s one way to get your heart started in the morning. So my sweetie has gone to work, Higgs had been fed, and I’m showered and dressed in grubbies. Since much rain is forecast today, I will work inside. The master bath is inundated with animal hair and I can’t stand it any more. I swear, Higgs walks in there, and half of her hair sticks to any white surface. So the bathroom is getting a major clean. Later. When I feel up to it. I want to go back to sleep - I got hot overnight, so I’d kick the covers off, then I’d get a chill and wake up and cover back up. So not too rested this morning. But onward into the day! Happy Tuesday! ---

Happy Toosday! It’s warm out, it looks like rain but according to my phone it’s not supposed to rain. Who knows? I stayed up late last night then woke up at 6. I was going to stay up but decided to go back to bed and slept til 9:30. I have to go out today, pick up some meds and go to the CU. First some breakfast and wake up a bit more. ---

That worked out well! I did go back to snooze, with Higgs and Taz to help me. I dozed on and off for about 90 minutes, then read for another hour or so. I’m feeling more human now. So yay. I’ve assembled what I need to clean the bathroom. Just need to find the motivation. 😃 It shouldn’t take even an hour, but I do hate cleaning floors and baseboards, moreso when they’re covered with little black pug hairs and fluffs of cat hairs. I’ll get to it. Really. 😃 The rain has started again - it’s been showering on and off most of the morning, and I expect it’ll continue most of the day. My gardens are happy about it for sure! I think before I clean, I need to consider lunch. Decisions, decisions… ---

Lunch was grilled cheese, corn chips, and sprite zero. Both bathrooms are clean, except for the hair Taz deposited after I finished, and I even ran the vacuum thru the traffic areas. To me!! The windows are open because despite the rain, it’s warm out. I even turned on 2 ceiling fans. I think that’s enough productivity till it’s time to make supper. I’ve got a chickie tit out to thaw. Not sure what I’m going to do with it, tho. Iincidentally, I have 4 [bunnehs](http://s72.photobucket.com/user/fairychatmom/media/Stuff%20for%20sale/DSCN2326_zpsltkq1vwb.jpg.html?sort=6&o=16)left (the yellow and lavender sold) and 5 [bunnehs in baskets](http://s72.photobucket.com/user/fairychatmom/media/Stuff%20for%20sale/DSCN2328_zps9vvrnp7z.jpg.html?sort=6&o=17) (dark purple, lavender, blue, green, and dark pink, bunneh colors random.) If anyone is interested, I’ll make you a good deal - along the lines of a buck or 2, plus the cost of shipping. Otherwise, I need to tuck them away till next year. I’m thinking I need to read some more. ---

The bunnies are cute **FCM** Taxes done, money moved to cover payments. I e-filed, the feds got theirs, I haven’t heard back from the state yet. All due bills have been paid, and some that aren’t due yet. I feel so accomplished. I didn’t go out to get my meds, since I didn’t have to go to the CU. They can wait until tomorrow. I have lunch in the oven, after I eat I’ll do some straightening around here, then get to irk. It feels good to get the tax monkey off my back. ---
