Home. My oven was safely next to the front door, and now it’s set up on the counter. Unfortunately, \*\*FCD \*\*isn’t hungry, so I won’t be trying it out today. But I like it already - it has an easy-clean crumb tray and a nice, deep drip pan with a rack that fits right in. I need to read over the directions, but it seems easy enough to operate. So yay! I was very confused when I signed on to my credit union and saw a large balance in checking. I’d forgotten that my pension was deposited today - last day of the month. Then we get paid on Firday - yay for money-ful week! Savings should get a nice boost, unless I do our taxes and we get bad news there… Something always seems to show up when we find a few extra bucks. ---

Dindin has been ingested. All is well. Plus, enough poke and slaw leftover for both of us for N.O.L. tomorrow, so win-win. I have ground beast thawin’ that shall be made into a beastloaf for tomorrow night. I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for beastloaf, mac 'n cheese, steamed cabbage, and cornbread. Plus it’s one of OYKW’s favorite meals so it’s all good. **MOOOOOOM** does your oven also rotiss? I really like the fact that I can rotiss with my counter top convection oven. OK, I’ve only done it a couple of times, but still I like the fact that I can if’n I want. ---

I’ve already lost one day this week due to extreme slowness at irk and judging from tomorrow’s arrivals and departures I may lose another. We shall see. At least I got my W-2 so I can file my taxes now. Detailed AGM came by this morning for a few minutes so I got to see him one last time before he dropped the A and became GM. On a good note, my last avocado was perfectly ripe when I got home this afternoon. Who had guacamole? _ **I** _ had guacamole. And it was good. 😃 ---

Thursday’s forecast is pretty much the same as Wednesday’s, so whatever rodent like creature pokes its head up will see sun then as well. Plus it has been decided that Thursday’s dindin shall be pancakes and snausages. **red** we always wear our good underwear for dindin. 😃 And on that note, I shall go join OYKW in the boudoir to watch teevee until sleepy time. Had our meeting at work today. The short version is our new site manager walks on water, performs wonders, and shits cucumbers. Oh, and for all those interested in leaving we’ll give you a grand to go away and never be seen again. Of course, you can never work for any branch of the Octopus in Seattle but ---------------- I am not taking it. I don’t know if I will be there come the next peak season but its going to be some serious shits and giggles until I leave. ---

I just wrote a long post about my preference of sheets. It went poof. I am a 100% cotton percale forever sheet consumer. I miss the wrinkled, crispy and oft time scratchy sheets of my youth. I found some by Martha S on deep discount and even though one pattern is tiny Christmas trees on tiny cars IDGAF. So I ordered a second pair with Zebras and a third pair plain yellow. I will not be ironing sheets though my Mama used to. I want my Mama. Irked til six drove til 7 and cooked a full meal and cleaned and laundry. Tarhred. ---

After a bit of discussion, we decided that one session a week with her, longer and more intense, should make up for it. Either that or I’ll be dead at the end of it. ---

Up early. Have made coffee, had one cup and walked the dog. I intend to go to irk early since it is the first of the month :smack: I stayed late last night and got the majority of the inventory done. Just couldn’t do the slackers that were out. Then to catch up a few things and start the paying of vendors,which is a never ending job. We are also having our annual security drill so must be prepared to lockdown the building at any time. My office phone is now operational so there is that. Happy February everyone. And how could I forget this **BLURF**? Must not forget my lunch. Rosie’s sig. ---

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. _YAWN_ 'Tis 49 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 72 and N.O.S. for the day. Today I await the arrival of my replacement 'puter. FedEx attempted delivery yestiddy but I was not home and a sig is required for delivery. Anywho, a sticky was left on the front door so I signed it and stuck it back on the door. Still I plan to be at da cave when it arrives. Not to worry though as I have stuff to keep me busy. I shall make a beastloaf, do some laundry, sort through junk in the desk where all the bills etc live and surf teh intartoobz. Happy February! It’s one month until Ash Wednesday so begin your preparations now. Speakin’ of first of the month, I have yet to feel regret over not havin’ to deal withEOM/EOQ stuff. 😃 **MOOOOOOM** glad to know you’re rotiss needs are met.
