Last year there was a little girl (6 or 7) trick-or-treating at my workplace, decked out in some glittery costume jewelry, carrying a microphone, and wearing a cute skirt and top…with paper cutouts of meat safety-pinned all over them. She was Lady Gaga. ---

I had to wear a costume to our community’s Halloween parade. I found cow-spotted footie pajamas and, with an angel’s halo, went as a Sacred Cow. ---

The one-legged guy going as the leg lamp from A Christmas Story. The fringed lampshade is his “skirt.” Perfect. ---

This was quite a few years ago, but there was a little girl dressed like a gargoyle. She was carrying a bucket and a water bottle. She inverted the bucket and put it on the sidewalk, then squatted on it, tooka swig of water, then spit the water out in a long arc of a stream, like she was a water fountain. ---

I saw a girl dressed as a “middle school photo.” She was wearing a board on her back with that weird blue/gray/white background that used to be in a lot of school photos. She was dressed all geeky and had glasses and “headgear,” those things that people used to have to wear attached to their braces and retainers. ---

That is hilarious! I keep telling myself I’m going to make an interesting costume one of these years, but that’s a lie because 1) I’m not creative, and 2) I’m lazy. Let’s not lie to ourselves. I’m going to once again buy a costume from the store next year. ---

My sister wore her ringette/hockey shoulder pads and borrowed my Ottawa Senators jersey. Her boyfriend wore his suit. Whenever anybody asked them what their costume was, they turned and glared at one another. They went as the NHL lockout. 😃 ---

My gf was The Headless Horseman last year. [The size of her costume limited its use](http://i681.photobucket.com/albums/vv174/kayaker01/halloweenie.jpg). She road down to our neighbors party and took home first prize. BTW, the horse in the pic is still alive; he is thirty. ---
