You’re more guilty of dragging down the level of discourse than anyone else in this thread. I’m just pointing out that you’re a dick who is hijacking It. I haven’t said one word about what Christians do or don’t believe, mainly because I’m an atheist, but also because its a fucking stupid, tired and unoriginal hijack Great debate is up the board. And by the way, why would anyone even be interested in this thread, if they don’t want to explore the larger issues? A couple has let two of their children die because of their misguided faith in Jesus. You can either say that sucks, which is obvious, or you can defend and support them, which I doubt anyone on SDMB is going to do. So if you don’t want a very short thread with nothing but a bunch of “i think that sucks, too” posts, then all that’s left to do is look at the basis of their belief. If you don’t like it, then just make your “Me too” post and fuck off. Leave the modding to the mods. ---

Some were starting to talk about the legal ramifications of the act, but you had to drag every fucking Christian into something that 10th graders all over the country consider to be the edgy topic of the day.
