> Here’s a show dedicated to the 999 (think 911) calls that the police got over a short period of time. The program itself (i..e the entire series) was ace too.

I thought that the new number for 999 was 0118 999 881 999 119 725 3.

Even more importantly I should be getting paid in pounds. Those bastards.

Obama has not gone public with the deal yet, but in fact his solution to the fiscal cliff was to sell the USA to the UK using an executive order. You are actually working in Britain now.

We had a problem with that. Back when no one was certain where the Manitoba-Ontario border was, both provinces established police departments in Kenora, who instead of working together got it in their heads to arrest each other, resulting in most officers of both forces either being locked up in jail or hiding out in hopes of not being arrested. Unfortunately, this left the town without any effective law enforcement despite having two police forces. Also, you’ve heard of the expression “vote early and vote often” – well when it came time for the provincial elections, everyone got to vote twice, due to their residing in two provinces at one time.

I know right! Fucking retarded Americans and their stupid guns. Why can’t they be more civilized like the UK which has no gun crime.

Read page 25-27 about the [Rat Portage War](http://www.tbla.ca/resources/European%20Law%20Speech%20by%20Justice%20Wright%20October%2016,%202012.pdf)on the pdf paper found at the TBLA website:

> ‘One day a Manitoba constable would be arrested for drunkenness by an Ontario constable, the next, Manitoba would reciprocate by arresting an Ontario official, or this dull routine would be enlivened by an assault on a newspaper correspondent, or the apprehension of one of the magistrates on some trumped-up charge, to be followed by a general swearing out of information’s and wholesale arrests all around the official circle. While these interesting proceedings commanded the strict attention of the magistrates and police, it may be imagined that the gamblers and whisky peddlers enjoyed almost complete immunity, for it was next to impossible for a constable, zealous as he might be in the discharge of his duty, to observe the actions of evil-doers, while he himself was a fugitive from justice, engaged in dodging a warrant for his own arrest.’

While you’re there, have a boo at pages 21-22 that deal with the [summary execution of American Land Pirates](http://www.tbla.ca/resources/European%20Law%20Speech%20by%20Justice%20Wright%20October%2016,%202012.pdf)down near Detroit. Come to think of it, Detroit is where we are presently trying to give the Americans a free new bridge (report [in American](http://www.thedailyshow.com/full-episodes/wed-january-9-2013-jeff-bridges)and [in Canadian](http://www.thecomedynetwork.ca/Shows/TheDailyShow?videoPackage=129243) after the break at about six minutes in – and yes, that really is the Canadian Consul General in Detroit).

But Ravenman, you’re cite uses more recent data that shows a significant decrease since the peak in 2004, whereas Drunky Smurf’s cite uses dated data to show the increase but not the more recent decrease. Shouldn’t we use the more traditional, well established data rather than something that is more accurate?

> The number of firearm offences has fallen steadily since peaking at 24,094 in 2003/04, and has decreased by over half (53%) since then. This represents a greater fall than in police recorded crime overall, which has fallen by around a third (31%) over the same period (Table 2.04 in Chaplin et al., 2011). This decrease in firearm offences has largely been due to a reduction in the number of air weapon offences recorded by the police, which has fallen by over two-thirds (69%) since 2003/04. In comparison, non-air weapon offences are almost a third (32%) lower than 2003/04, having peaked later, in 2005/06 (Table 2.01; Figure 2.1).

TLDR. Doesn’t sound like you’re thinking about the children!
