Whenever I wear my pierced earrings, I can count on getting “crusty” earlobes 24 hours after removing my earrings. I do clean my earrings and dip them in alcohol both before and after wearing them. It feels kind of weird to squeeze my earlobes. One time when I squeezed at a different angle, I produced a prodigious amount of . .uh . . matter and my left ear piercing was noticeably larger than my right ear. The next morning, everything was back to normal. I report on these things so as to educate fellow Dopers. ---

I had something similar, **medstar** , only it was from a different kind of piercing… guh! I took out my nipple rings last summer and while the holes seem to have mostly healed up, my left one umm… oozes cloudy goo when squished. ---

LOL. **TheOtherOne** , you are cool. 😃 I haven’t been getting any spectacular zits lately _knock on wood_ but I’ve got a pretty good story in the last pimple thread. To this day I wonder if the kid sitting next to me ever noticed. One time I had a giant red boil-type pimple right in the middle of my forehead, and it looked like a caste mark. Uh… yeah. ---

Heehee. I must share my own recent zit story. I was sitting in math class a couple of weeks ago, minding my own business, trying to remember how many liters are in a quart when I reach up to scratch an itchy spot on the left side of my face right above my lip. My nails barely touch the skin when I hear an audible “BOOOM!”. My mouth gapes open and my eyes widen in shock, and I pull my hand away slowly, certain my face has just exploded. To my horror, I find my hand covered with gray crusty pus-goop, the composition of which I will not hesitate to guess. I gawk at it for a few moment, and gingerly touch the weeping sore from whence it came. “BOOOM!” more pus-goop. My other hand is now covered. I stand up and lurch off to the bathroom self-consciously, hoping no-one sees my face oozing what appears to be radioactive waste. Either no-one in my class noticed, or they were too polite to mention it. And I swear I had no idea that Godzilla zit was there!!! .:Nichol:. ---

You know what I love? Not the oozers or squirters, though they’re fun. Not the mirror-marring pus cannons, though they’re definitely up there. I love the snakers. Those blackheads that just go forever and twist and snake out when you keep squeezing. I’m always excited when I get coil after coil of nasty goo out of a pore. Ewww. LC ---

Zits on one’s own person are truly fascinating; but have you ever stared at someone else’s zit and had the urge to overpower them, tie them down, and SQUEEZE THAT ZIT??? I went out for lunch today, and my waitress had a huge red zit on the end of her nose. I really wanted to grab her nose and squeeze, but she might’ve taken that the wrong way. ---

**glarGH** , I feel your left nipple oozing pain. Mine does exactly the same thing. My left nipple ring has been out for two years, and it still oozes that cloudy stuff. Yuck! ---

I had a doctor who had a monster blackhead right between the eyebrows. Since I have to listen to the doc, and it’s only polite to look him in the eye, I HAD to look at his face. It was ready to be tweezed out, too (I try to tweeze out blackheads, less trauma to the skin that way). I changed doctors eventually, though not because of the Blackhead from the Black Lagoon.
