Not wanting to clutter up [Smapti’s quiz](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=633546), I started a new thread. Don’t need artist or song title, just location: 1. Where was it raining hard when I needed one more fare to make my night? 2. Where are four dead? 3. Where is the place that wants me, but I can’t go back there? 4. Where did I stick around when I saw it was time for a change? 5. Where am I moving to soon to become a dental floss tycoon? 6. Where is calling to the faraway towns, now that war is declared, the battle come down? 7. Where do all my exes live? 8. Where was the turnpike covered in snow from Stockbridge to? 9. Where did it take me four days to hitchhike from? 10. Where is just like I pictured it, skyscrapers, and everything? 11. Where are we living and they’re closing all the factories down? 12. Where is a delta shining like a national guitar? 13. Where do I bless the rains? 14. Where were McGuinn and McGuire getting higher? 15. Where have you heard about after you heard about Houston and Detroit? 16. Where did I just get back from, then I locked the front door, oh boy? 17. Where were we pulled apart because her mom did not agree and tore apart our happy home? 18. Where do I want to go when I get off of this mountain, straight down the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico? 19. Where do they got some pretty little women and I’m going to get me one? 20.
