Because it’s a zombie? In particular, a zombie on a subject where an old discussion might be especially irrelevant after 7 years. Just my guess. ---

Yeah, there was a poster before **pulykamell**. I don’t recall if it was a spammer, but it was a new account and the post was disappeared. The bump seemed like a drive-by, at least. ---

The post immediately before **pulykamell** ’s was inane but wasn’t itself spam, but there was also a post right after him by the same user that was (that’s why some folks might not have noticed that the bump was a spammer). And before that bump, the three previous posts to that thread were also spam. **ecg** probably just decided that the thread was more trouble than it was worth, at that point. ---
