SilverMagicalKey must have stolen some vibes from me… Some friends and I were last night discussing the proposition of men being more visually-based in terms of arousal (duh!). The conversation later turned to masturbation and inevitably the original conversation thread (ie REAL spoken words guys) collided with the new one. A very interesting and diverse debate followed and I made a mental note to post the question on the board. i would watch. as i posted on the other board, and tasha was kind enough to point out, i have voyeuristic tendencies. and if the man was attractive it would be an added bonus. most likely i would watch out of titillation (thats a cool word). ---

Yes, I would. Curiosity and titillation. The guy being attractive would be a bonus, but not necessary for me. I realize this may shock some people here, but I’ve never seen a guy do that. Any guy, ever. So, hence the curiosity. And titillation for the unexpected naughtiness of it, of catching someone in something so personal unawares. Some other reason? I have no idea. I don’t know how it would make me feel really; though I wouldn’t expect any negative feelings about it. ---

Well, I guess I’ll be the only one saying I wouldn’t watch. I don’t find it really sexy or attractive to watch. It is only when it is part of my sexual experience with my SO do I find it exciting. When another guy does it I feel a shock that he definitly doesn’t want anyone watching. i would be bright red if I watched and would be too embarrassed to continue watching. …now when my SO does it, it drives me mad with desire…😉 ---

Well, making the necessary adjustment in the gender of the performer, sure, I would watch. You said it yourself, women aren’t as visually oriented as men, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that they aren’t visually oriented at all. I would watch. I would see exactly how she touched herself, what spots she lingered over, I would wonder what she was fantasizing about, and I would construct some sort of fantasy of my own that would tie in with it. I would of course be thoroughly enjoying my own diversions as well. I mean, really. Accepting for the moment that all men are primarily visually oriented, it doesn’t mean that other senses don’t play a role. It depends. If it was someone I found quite unattractive, nooooooooooo, don’t wanna see it. However, if he was someone that “did it” for me, of course I want to watch. Not only would it would it be very arousing for me, it would also be a great learning experience. Who better to learn how a man likes to be touched, than by watching him masturbate. I also love the sound of his breath and moans as he gets closer and closer to climax (purposefully leaving out my endorsement for phone sex - maybe another thread). I think i’d stop and watch, but probably not out of fascination or anything. I’d definitely focus on the look in the person’s eyes and their body language. I am more of the kind of person who likes to read emotions and reactions than look at technique. ---
