I’m sure that there was evidence that Venus is one big continuous resurfacing event.
I hope you (or any other SDMB’ers) are not entertaining thoughts of posting provacative questions or statements on their board. Those of us that have been around long enough to have fought in the Left Behind Flame Wars know that, while briefly entertaining (in a pull-the-wings-off-bugs sort of way), ultimately it will come to a bad end for both groups. When narrow minds have doubt inserted into their closed universe, they often do unpredictable and destructive things. I will leave it to the other veterans to explain about the last time we tried to change the minds of a whacked-out board; suffice it to say it was not a pretty sight.
