It turns out there is a secret compartment behind the left-hand drawer…but there was nothing inside except some utility bills from the 1970s. ---

Only if you: 1) apply for the permit, 2) pay the appropriate baksheesh, and only then will it be issued, unless you want to skip step 2, in which case don’t plan on it happening for at least the next six months. ---
