That is part if it. I really feel bad for Opie and Jim Norton, especially Jimmy. The last time they got fired O&A got paid to do nothing for 2 years while Jimmy was left out in the cold.
There was one time recently where they talked about how Jimmy reigned one or both of them in, basically saying “WTF are you doing? I don’t want to lose this gig again.”
